Far Cry 7 Report Raises Big Concerns About the Game

Recent reports suggest that development of the next Far Cry game, potentially titled Far Cry 7, is facing significant challenges. While Ubisoft hasn’t officially announced the game, a new installment is widely expected given the franchise’s popularity. However, it appears an official reveal or release is unlikely in the near future due to these development issues.

According to video game insider Tom Henderson, development of Far Cry 7 has been troubled recently. While he didn’t specify the exact issues, Henderson believes the game is still at least two years away from release. However, he also mentioned that Far Cry 7 has a solid base, suggesting the final game could be very good.

According to Henderson, while Far Cry 7 showed promise, it’s currently in rough shape. He estimates the game is still a couple of years from release.

Far Cry 7 Isn’t the Only Far Cry Game in the Works

Okay, so everyone’s hyped for Far Cry 7, and yeah, that’s the big one Ubisoft’s working on. But apparently, they’re also making another Far Cry game, but it’s totally different! It’s supposed to be a multiplayer shooter where you’re extracting stuff – kind of like Escape from Tarkov. I’ve been hearing whispers about this game for ages, but according to the latest info, they completely revamped it in 2025. That means we’re probably going to be waiting a while longer before we actually get to see it, which is a bummer, but hopefully it’ll be worth the wait!

For those who enjoy the Far Cry games, it looks like Ubisoft probably won’t be announcing anything big related to the series anytime soon. We might get a new Far Cry game in 2027 if we’re lucky, but it’s more likely that Far Cry 7 will come out in 2028. That would be a full seven years after the last main Far Cry game, which is a long wait.
