Age didn’t matter for the fans, just the connection.
Netflix has renewed its dating reality show, Age of Attraction, for another season, proving its popularity with viewers.
As a huge fan, I have to say, Age of Attraction immediately grabbed my attention – it was completely captivating! The show isn’t afraid to be raw and honest, and that’s what makes it so enjoyable to watch. I’m so glad Netflix took a chance on this unique dating experiment with Jennifer O’Connell and Rebecca Quinn. The positive reaction from viewers has been amazing, and I’m thrilled they’re already planning to take things even further with Season 2!
As a lifestyle expert, I’m really excited about this show! My co-host, Nick Viall, and I – we actually have an 18-year age difference ourselves – wanted to create a space where we can genuinely celebrate love that doesn’t necessarily follow traditional rules. It’s all about exploring connections, no matter the age gap!
The former Bachelor contestant, 45, explained to Fox News Digital in March that they hoped to encourage people in relationships with age gaps to focus on the positive aspects and not let others’ opinions bother them. They wanted to give these couples the freedom to explore what made their connection special, regardless of what anyone else thought, as outside perspectives don’t affect the relationship itself.
Natalie, 27, is expecting twins and is also mom to 2-year-old River Rose. She describes the dating app, Age of Attraction, as a secure and comfortable environment for people looking for relationships.
The first season featured contestants bravely opening up about their unique relationships. Several couples chose to overcome their uncertainties, including Andrew Wheeler, 38, and Libby Vodicka. Andrew worried he might hold Libby back from enjoying her twenties, but they both decided to take a chance on their connection and committed to continuing their relationship at the end of the season.

Although some couples left the show hoping to continue dating, Logan Goodrid, 29, decided he was ready for a more serious commitment with Vanessa Drozda. He first asked Vanessa, 49, to return a promise ring she’d given him, and then surprised her with an engagement ring.
He described their journey together as an exciting and unpredictable one, but made it clear he’s fully committed. He expressed his deep love for the person, saying they deserve all the best things in life, including a championship ring like Kobe Bryant’s.
Vanessa was completely surprised by how things turned out. After saying yes to his proposal, she confessed that she’d imagined every possible outcome of the trip—except falling in love.
Not all the couples found happiness. For example, Jorge Sanchez, 60, and Vanelle Fenmou, 27, struggled because their lifestyles didn’t mesh well. Vanelle explained on the show that she didn’t believe the age difference was the main issue.
You can catch up with the cast of season one at the reunion, which premieres on The Viall Files on April 1st at 7pm Eastern Time. While you wait for Age of Attraction to return, read on to discover what happened with all of the couples from season one…

I’ve been following Pfeifer’s story, and it’s so admirable how dedicated she is! Even though she and her partner have a 20-year age difference, she made the huge decision to leave her life in Seattle and move to Dallas, hoping they could build a future together, especially knowing he already has two children. It really shows how much she’s willing to do for love.
She told him at their Commitment Ceremony that finding him felt like the greatest luck. She explained that people often search their entire lives for something like what they had, and she feared she’d always regret leaving without him.

Theresa received a supportive letter from her three grown children, which gave her the confidence to move forward with her relationship despite the age difference (she was 54, he was 27). Feeling validated, they decided to pursue their love together at the ceremony.
Hearing that they wrote that to you really boosted my confidence and made me happy. I hadn’t even seen what it said! Because of that, I don’t want to end things. What really matters is our connection, not how long we’ve known each other,” she admitted.

Vanessa was eager to start a relationship with Logan, even saying she wanted to share her life with him. However, Logan was unsure, as he worried about the 20-year age difference and gently suggested he might not be the right match for her.
He asked for the promise ring back on Commitment Day, explaining he was unsure if their relationship was good for them – if it was healthy or harmful.
Once they removed the rings, Logan was finally prepared to commit to her, and surprisingly, he proposed.
He described the relationship as an exciting and unpredictable journey, but said he’s fully committed. He expressed his deep affection, saying, ‘I love you so much.’ He also told her she deserves all the best things in life, and specifically mentioned that she deserves to receive a Kobe Bryant championship ring as a symbol of that.
He proposed with an engagement ring, asking if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. She happily accepted, making this her fifth engagement.

Chris, 15 years younger than Leah, ended the relationship because he felt overwhelmed by her constant desire to be with him.
We’ve discussed our differing viewpoints and were upfront about what we each expect in a relationship from the beginning. It seems we both ultimately want a family and to settle down, but maybe we envision that happening at different times. He added that the age gap created unnecessary stress and, for the first time, made him feel like he couldn’t be himself.
As he put it, “That’s why ultimately, I feel that this partnership is not right.”
So, how did Leah react to the breakup?
I’ve always wanted someone to choose me, but I wasn’t going to lower myself to ask for it. I also realized I can’t change anyone to fit my ideal. I came to this retreat hoping to find love, but it didn’t happen. Ultimately, I discovered a lot about myself – I’m strong, smart, and beautiful – and I know whoever I end up with will be lucky to have me.

Despite worrying that he might be holding Libby back from enjoying her twenties, she explained to Andrew, who is sixteen years older than her, that she believed he would simply enhance her life.
He told her, “It feels like things are finally falling into place for me, like this could be the start of a really happy relationship.” He laughed and added, “I know that was a little corny! I’ve been thinking about where things are headed, and I’m not even sure what the current terms are – ‘hard launch,’ ‘soft launch,’ something more modern, probably – but I’d really like to leave here with you as my girlfriend.”
Libby agreed, with the pair making plans for her to go to Baltimore to meet his daughters.

Despite a significant age difference – he was 33 years older than her – the couple didn’t last until the final Commitment Day. They broke up while still living together, due to conflicts about Vanelle’s choice to remain celibate and an incident where Jorge argued with someone in public.
However, she noted, “I don’t necessarily think it has anything to do with his age.”
