So, *FBC: Firebreak* is getting a huge update called Breakpoint on September 29th, and it’s really shaking things up – fixing a lot of what needed fixing and changing core parts of how the game works. And even after that, Remedy isn’t giving up on the game! They’re planning another big update, currently called “Rogue Protocol,” which should drop in late November, even though the initial sales weren’t what they hoped for. It’s awesome to see them continuing to support the game!
Formerly called “Blackout,” this update brings a new location to explore, along with new enemies, gear, and rewards. You’ll also find a special Classified Requisition with unique cosmetic items. Plus, we’re adding a brand-new game mode and voice chat that works across all platforms. And looking ahead, we’re planning a third major update for March 2026 – we’ll share more details about that soon!
The new game, *FBC: Firebreak*, is now available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. It’s also included with PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe and Xbox Game Pass. Set after the events of the game *Control*, *Firebreak* follows a team of Federal Bureau of Control agents as they fight against the Hiss. You can find our review of the initial release version here.
