In a somewhat unfortunate turn of events, the creators at EA Sports have decided to take away the popular Griddy celebration from FIFA 25. However, there’s some good news! By participating in the Griddy to Glory live event, you can immediately secure the Griddy celebration for FIFA 26.
Among the much-loved (yet occasionally frustrating) festivities in FC 25, the Griddy has become a staple within online modes such as Clubs and FUT, making it an essential move you wouldn’t want to be without when transitioning to FC 26.
We’ve prepared a simple guide showing you how to finish the FC 25 Griddy to Glory challenge in order to unlock the Griddy celebration for FC 26.
FC 25 Griddy to Glory: How to unlock the Griddy in FC 26 explained
To trigger the Griddy festivity in FC 26, you should accomplish two groups of missions within the Griddy to Victorious Ultimate Team (FUT) event in FC 25.
These task sets are:
- Griddy-to-Glory Daily Play
- Griddy-to-Glory Daily Completionist
To finish the daily tasks for the Griddy-to-Glory Play mode in Ultimate Team, you can either win three games in the Griddy to Glory Cup or complete six matches in that same mode.
To achieve The Daily Completionist objective, all that’s required is completing the Daily Play task a total of five times.
There are a few squad requirements you’ll need to fulfil to play in the Griddy to Glory Cup:
- Gold Players only
- Common and Rare Players: Exactly 18
- 75 and Higher OVR Players: Exactly 18
The deadline for this event is on September 10th, which means there’s still ample time left for you to finish it. Even if you need to step away from your device for any reason, you can rest assured that you won’t miss out before then!
Once you’ve completed all your objectives, you’ll earn some incredible rewards.
In Football Club (FC) 26, not only do you stand a chance to celebrate with the Griddy, but you’ll also be rewarded with a 99 Overall (OVR) Futties Icon Ronaldinho in FC 25. Additionally, you’ll receive five player selections, each consisting of top-tier 99-rated players from Futties, Greats of the Game, and Path to Glory tournaments.
