FC 26 FUT Champs is the most rewarding part of every weekend in the game – and it’s famously known as Weekend League for a reason!
Depending on how you do, you can rack up some serious rewards, whether that’s Packs, Coins or more.
Wondering about this year’s rewards and when FUT Champs begins? Curious how everything works? Here’s a complete guide with all the details.
When does FUT Champs start and end in FC 26?
FUT Champions now happens weekly, starting at 8 AM Thursdays and lasting until 8 AM Tuesdays. This is a change from how it worked in the previous game, FC 25.
The only exception is our first event of the year, starting on Friday, October 3rd. This gives you one week to qualify, or two weeks if you purchase the Ultimate Edition.
How to qualify for FC 26 FUT Champs
To qualify for FUT Champs, you need first need to fulfil two criteria.
The first of these is to reach at least Division 6 in the Rivals game mode – simple enough, right?
To move forward, you also need to collect 1,000 Champions Qualification Points. You get these points by playing matches in Rivals – winning matches gives you more points than losing.
Generally, if you’re starting from a lower rank, you’ll likely be around 1,000 points by the time you reach Division 6.
After you meet both requirements, you can use 1,000 points to enter that weekend’s FUT Champions event.
Previously in FIFA 25, players needed to win three out of five games in a Play-Off stage to qualify for the FUT Champs Finals. Now, qualification is automatic, returning to the older system.
Some players will appreciate having fewer games to play each week, but unfortunately, that also means we won’t receive any of the bonus rewards typically earned through the playoffs this year.
FC 26 FUT Champs Finals ranks and rewards

Make it through the Play-Offs, and you’ll get to take part in the Champions Finals.
Okay, so there are 15 games I can play, and how much I get at the end depends on how many I win. Each win is worth one point, and to get the best rank – Rank I – I have to win *all* 15 of them. Sounds challenging!
