Feature: 10 PS5, PS4 Space Games to Play After Artemis 2’s Big Moon Mission

NASA recently launched astronauts on the first crewed mission to the Moon in more than half a century, and it’s incredibly exciting!

The Artemis II mission is almost over. The crew launched on April 1st, 2026, and after a four-day journey to and around the Moon, they are now heading back to Earth, with a landing scheduled for the 10th.

It’s rare to find a game that truly captures the challenge of moving without gravity, but Heavenly Bodies does it well—and it’s even more fun when played with a friend.

This game is most fun when played with a friend. You and a partner take on the roles of astronauts who are assigned straightforward tasks while working on space stations.

It’s surprisingly hard to move your arms and hands exactly how you want, because you have to control each one separately.

This experience will really test your friendship. You’ll either end up having a blast and making hilarious memories together, or it could seriously strain your relationship. It’s that kind of high-stakes situation.

Dead Space

So, I finally got my hands on Starfield, the new sci-fi RPG that just dropped on PS5. It’s made by Bethesda, the guys who created The Elder Scrolls and Fallout – huge games I’ve spent tons of hours in, so I had high hopes!

This game isn’t flawless, but it has a lot going for it. You’ll encounter many interesting characters as you explore different worlds, the fighting is really well done, and customizing your ship is incredibly rewarding on its own.

Honestly, the way Starfield looks really reminds me of NASA – it’s got that same cool, realistic vibe. If you’re excited about the Artemis II mission, I think you’ll really dig the game’s grounded aesthetic. It just feels believable, you know?

Star Wars Outlaws

There are many great Star Wars games, but Outlaws really stands out when it comes to freely exploring the galaxy.

Okay, so this game isn’t really about realistic space travel, but honestly, it just feels so good to play, we absolutely had to put it on the list! The atmosphere is just perfect.

Even though Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is a sequel, you don’t need to have played the first game to enjoy it – it stands perfectly on its own, and many players actually think it’s an improvement over the original.

You’re an android with a human consciousness, but your body is falling apart, and you’re being pursued – you’re on the run.
