You read that right, I have the platinum Trophy in Everything — mission accomplished!
Just a little joke there, at the top.
But yes, I do have the plat for Everything, the game, not everything, the everything.
What’s amazing about this strange and wonderful game is that it speaks for itself – I couldn’t describe it any better than it already does.
This is an immersive exploration of the universe and everything within it – all life and everything else that exists alongside us.
The game boasts an incredible number of playable characters – thousands, in fact. While they don’t have a lot of complex actions or interactions, the sheer variety of characters, representing everything from animals and plants to minerals and more, is really remarkable.
Where else can you be playing as a pair of scissors one moment and a nebula the next?
Although some sandbox games can get repetitive, I found this one consistently engaging. Its thoughtful progression, letting you delve deeper into meaningful experiences and explore life’s challenges, kept me hooked.
The game isn’t just impressive technically; the thoughtful ideas explored by Alex Ward truly make it special.
He often interrupts with stories that emphasize the story’s deeper meaning, offering surprisingly insightful perspectives. All while somehow managing to collect houses and make them dance!
Okay, seriously, you HAVE to see this 10-minute gameplay trailer. It really captures the whole essence of the game in just a few minutes – it’s like the entire experience condensed into one amazing video!
If you can’t or won’t play the game, this video tells you all you need to know.
I unlocked almost all of the trophies simply by playing the game as normal. The descriptions for the trophies aren’t very clear, so figuring out how to get them is often a guessing game.
I was very close to earning the platinum trophy, needing only one or two more achievements. Because of that, I remember searching online for help getting them.
I often started the game just to enjoy its atmosphere. Exploring its world was really relaxing and helped me unwind.
This platinum trophy is a great way to remember that game. It was such a unique experience, I don’t think I’ll ever play anything like it again, and I’m happy to have this as a keepsake.
Cheers, Everything.
