Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a lot to look forward to on February 13th! January is typically a quiet month for new game releases, which often means fewer additions to the service. But February is shaping up to be much better, and this year is no different. On February 13th, Xbox Game Pass will be getting its first big new release of 2026, alongside a highly anticipated RPG.
On February 13th, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get immediate access to the highly anticipated High on Life 2 upon its release on Xbox Series X and PC. The original High on Life was a huge hit on Game Pass in 2022, becoming the service’s biggest single-player and third-party launch ever, so the sequel is already shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2026. Also coming to Game Pass on February 13th is Kingdom Come Deliverance, a popular RPG from 2018 and the first game in a series that continued with the critically acclaimed Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 in 2025.
High on Life 2
Similar to the first High on Life, the sequel is a funny, action-packed shooter where you join a quirky team of aliens to save humanity from a greedy company that’s profiting off people’s lives. However, a big change is that Justin Roiland, the creator of Rick and Morty and the studio’s founder, wasn’t involved in making this game. It’s now uncertain whether the game series and the studio can continue to succeed without him.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Released in 2018 by Warhorse Studios, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a realistic, open-world medieval role-playing game. While its initial Metacritic scores (between 68 and 76) weren’t stellar, the game still sold millions of copies and spawned a highly-regarded sequel that’s considered one of the best RPGs of the 2020s. It’s worth mentioning that the game likely would have received even better reviews if not for some performance problems when it first launched – issues that have since been resolved.
So, I’m playing this awesome game set in the Holy Roman Empire, and I’m Henry – basically a regular blacksmith. My parents and my whole village were attacked, and now I’m on a mission to get revenge. It’s a pretty intense story!
