Though Square Enix didn’t officially announce “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth” for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S, they did reveal that “Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade” will be available on these platforms starting January 22nd, 2026. This release date is a bit later than the initial Q4 2025 schedule. You can watch the latest trailer for it below.
As an upgraded edition of “Final Fantasy 7 Remake,” titled “Intergrade,” offers enhanced graphics, along with additional user-friendly features, and the “INTERmission” DLC. This extra content centers around Yuffie Kisaragi, who teams up with Sonon Kusakabe to retrieve Materia from Shinra. While Yuffie is the only character playable in this mission, Sonon offers aid and special team-up attacks.
Keep an eye out for further updates on Intergrade for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S within the next few months. Don’t forget to check our review of its PS5 counterpart as well. Pre-orders are currently available, and interestingly, the Xbox version offers Play Anywhere compatibility with PC through the Microsoft Store.
