Square Enix previously announced a set of accessibility features called “Streamlined Progression” for the Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. Now, they’ve confirmed that PlayStation 5 and PC players will also get these features in a free update on January 22nd.
Streamlined Progression is a set of helpful features that make the game easier. It includes things like infinite HP, MP, and dealing maximum damage with every hit. You also get unlimited Gil (money). It can automatically fill your ATB and Limit gauges, instantly unlock weapon abilities after using a weapon once, and even max out Materia levels right away.
This feature was added to help new players experience the story more quickly, particularly with the upcoming release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on Xbox and Switch 2 later this year. If you’re new to the Remake trilogy and want to get up to speed, Streamlined Progression is a great option – it could even make the early sections of the game more enjoyable.
To mark the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox, a new update will be available for the PS5 and PC versions next Thursday. This update includes “Streamlined Progression,” which lets you maximize your HP and MP and consistently deal 9,999 damage in battles!
