On December 4th, Square Enix will release a physical copy of the *Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade & Rebirth Twin Pack* for PlayStation 5, the company revealed.
The *Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade & Rebirth Twin Pack* now lets you buy both *Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade* and *Final Fantasy VII Rebirth* together in one package, after previously being sold only as digital downloads.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the beginning of a three-part series, and the entire game takes place within the city of Midgar.
The city is a circular metropolis of steel, powered by mako – the planet’s energy source. The Shinra Electric Power Company extracts and converts this mako into usable energy.
The story starts with Cloud Strife, a mercenary, taking on a job with Avalanche, a group fighting against the Shinra Corporation. Their mission is to blow up one of Shinra’s reactors, but what Cloud expects to be a simple, one-off task quickly turns into a much larger adventure. He soon finds himself facing a dangerous enemy from his past – a man named Sephiroth.
This exciting story blends thrilling action with heartfelt character development. You’ll get to know Cloud, Barret, Tifa, and Aerith—the game’s beloved heroes—better than ever before, and by the end, you’ll feel a real connection to them.
The gameplay is also fantastic. It combines fast-paced, moment-to-moment action with strategic, menu-driven commands, offering the excitement of a modern action game and the depth of a traditional turn-based RPG.
In addition to the original FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE story, the INTERGRADE edition features a new side story called “EPISODE INTERmission.” This two-chapter adventure happens at the same time as the main game and follows the popular character Yuffie Kisaragi.
Offering a fresh character, more of Midgar to discover, and the always-fun Fort Condor minigame, this is a must-play before moving on to the next game in the series.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
The second game in this remake series sees Cloud and his friends leave Midgar and begin their chase across the world after Sephiroth.
This story takes you on an incredible journey to many memorable locations, from the battle-scarred lands of Junon to the dazzling Gold Saucer, and the lush forests of Gongaga, among others.
You’ll meet new characters who join your party, like Red XIII, Yuffie, and Cait Sith. Each one has a unique way of fighting and special abilities. During battles, you can also use new Synergy abilities, letting your characters work together for devastating attacks.
As a huge fan, I’m loving how much there is to *do* in *Final Fantasy VII Rebirth* beyond the main story! You can really live the life of a mercenary – taking on side quests, hunting down secrets, fighting tough monsters, and even getting into some fun mini-games. I’ve been totally hooked on Queen’s Blood, the card game, and racing chocobos is a blast! Plus, there’s a battle simulator with tons of challenges to keep you busy. Seriously, there’s so much to explore and do!
Simply put, it’s a fantastic game – and with over 40 Game of the Year awards in 2024, it’s easy to see why!
