Netflix’s Finding Her Edge is a teen drama that combines the excitement of competitive sports with relatable family issues and first love. Okay, so “Ice Dreams” really throws Adriana for a loop! She’s forced to team up with Brayden Elliott, who’s a phenomenal skater but a bit of a wild card, and it’s…tense, to say the least. To make things even more complicated, her ex and first love, Freddie, shows up with another partner. But honestly, the skating drama is almost secondary to the real heart of the story – the Russo family is really struggling, both financially and with some deep, unresolved grief. It feels like everything is pulling them apart, and it’s honestly quite heartbreaking to watch. It’s not just about the ice, it’s about family, and that’s where the movie really shines.

I have to say, Meredith Forlenza really brings Camille St-Denis to life in Finding Her Edge. You might recognize her from a lot of solid procedural work – she’s been in shows like Blindspot, Law & Order: Toronto, and even Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She’s clearly comfortable with dramatic roles, and that experience really shines through in her performance.
Niko Ceci, known for his role as Kev in I Woke Up a Vampire and various voice acting roles in children’s television, will play Charlie Monroe in Finding Her Edge. Charlie is a member of Riley Monroe’s family.
