The third season of Fire Force continues this week with Part 2! It will premiere in Japan on January 9th, and Crunchyroll has confirmed it will be available to stream starting at 9:30 AM Pacific Time on the same day. The latest episode of Fire Force Season 3, titled “Unconscious,” picks up with Shinra losing consciousness after seeing a vision of the world before the disaster. When he awakens, three months have passed, a fifth giant pillar has emerged, and he finds himself imprisoned in a strange place. Confused and panicked, Shinra is suddenly confronted by an unexpected visitor.
Fire Force Is Reaching Its Finale
I’m really excited for the return of Fire Force as part of the Winter 2026 anime season! It’s a huge franchise, and this is the final arc. Last year’s finale set things up with the start of the apocalypse, and left us on a cliffhanger – Shinra was knocked unconscious for months, then suddenly woke up somewhere new with a completely different haircut. It definitely left fans wanting more!
After a significant break and a time skip, the current episodes of Fire Force Season 3 signal the start of the series’ conclusion. While the exact number of episodes in the finale hasn’t been announced – and fans are hoping for a substantial ending – the anime appears to be following the manga’s ambitious plans for the final arc.
