The popular anime series *Fire Force* is gearing up for the final episodes of its third season, and a release date has finally been announced. The third season began earlier this year, setting the stage for an epic conclusion to the entire series. After a strong start, fans won’t have to wait much longer to see how the story ends.
The third season of *Fire Force* started airing this Spring and ended with a major cliffhanger. During announcements at New York Comic Con 2025 (which included a sneak peek at upcoming episodes), it was confirmed that *Fire Force* Season 3 Part 2 will premiere on January 9th of next year. To mark the announcement, you can see the new promotional artwork for the final episodes below.
What to Know for Fire Force Season 3 Part 2
I’m so excited to share that *Fire Force* Season 3 is coming back with its final episodes on January 9th! It’s going to be part of a huge Winter 2026 anime season, and I can hardly wait. The team behind the amazing second season is also back – Tatsumi Minamikawa is directing again, with Sei Tsuguta writing the scripts and Mika Yamamoto designing the characters. Plus, Yoshihiro Yoshioka, Mariko Kubo, and Yumenosuke Tokuda are all returning as chief animation directors, and we’ll be hearing familiar voices from the previous seasons too! It’s going to be epic.
Crunchyroll will be the only place to watch the final episodes of *Fire Force* as they air, and they currently have the first two seasons and the first part of the final season available for streaming. If you need to get caught up, now’s the time – things are about to get even more intense for Shinra Kusakabe and the rest of Special Fire Force Company 8.
How Is Fire Force’s Anime Going to End?
As a huge fan, I was thrilled when Atsushi Ohkubo finished the *Fire Force* manga! It means the anime can now really deliver on an amazing ending. The manga’s conclusion was fantastic – it really changed things up with the world itself, and we’re already seeing hints of that in the latest episodes of this third season. Honestly, the anime is building towards a truly explosive finale, and I can’t wait to see how it all plays out!
The *Fire Force* anime has brilliantly adapted many of the manga’s most exciting scenes, really bringing them to life. As the series nears its conclusion, viewers can expect some incredibly impactful battles before the story ends.
