He’s a really compelling character, and a testament to the power of inspiration.

Thor began as a self-centered god, but he’s grown into one of Marvel’s greatest heroes. He’s a fearless warrior who consistently risks everything to save others. Thor has repeatedly overcome overwhelming challenges to protect all the realms. Only those who are truly deserving can wield his hammer, Mjolnir, and Thor consistently earns his heroic title. He once struggled with self-doubt and anger, but he conquered those demons and became even stronger. Even when stripped of his godhood, Thor continues to fight for what’s right, proving that his heroism isn’t tied to his power.

It’s fitting that Janet van Dyne, also known as the Wasp, is highly ranked on this list, considering she’s the one who originally named the Avengers. Despite facing incredibly difficult challenges – from a troubled marriage to being lost in another dimension – she’s always remained dedicated to doing what’s right. Since the beginning, she’s been the emotional center of the Avengers, consistently offering guidance and keeping the team focused. Unlike some heroes, she’s never been tempted by darkness, and continues to be a hopeful symbol of everything the Avengers stand for. It proves that even the smallest heroes can have the biggest impact.

1) Captain America

Steve Rogers, Captain America, isn’t just a hero – he’s the standard for all heroes in the Marvel Universe. He battled injustice during World War II, and even when frozen in time, his story motivated many other heroes.
