We now have a detailed look at the last playable character in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. This new LEGO game from TT Games celebrates everything Batman, but instead of letting players use any DC character connected to the Dark Knight, the developers have chosen seven specific characters. Each one has special abilities and a role to play in the game’s story.
Players will be able to control several characters in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, including Batman, Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman, Batgirl, and Talia al Ghul. For a while, Talia al Ghul was kept a secret, and no clear images of her were shown. The game’s promotion reflected this mysterious approach, but now Talia al Ghul has been fully revealed for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
A new image from the official LEGO Batman Instagram page shows Catwoman, Batgirl, and Talia al Ghul gearing up for a fight in front of a Gotham Knights backdrop. The post highlights these three characters with the caption, “These women rule the night,” and confirms they are all playable characters in the game.

This is the first time we’re getting a good look at Talia in promotional materials for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. While it’s been known she’ll be a playable character, details about her abilities and appearance haven’t been shown until now.

Talia al Ghul is a character in DC Comics who is the daughter of the supervillain Ra’s al Ghul. She’s destined to inherit his criminal organization, the League of Shadows. Often, stories also portray her as a romantic interest for Bruce Wayne.
As a longtime Batman fan, I’ve seen a lot of versions of this character, and she’s popped up in some really significant stories. Most notably, Marion Cotillard brought her to life in The Dark Knight Rises, which was a treat. But she’s also been a fixture in the animated world and even made a memorable appearance in the video game Batman: Arkham City. It’s clear the filmmakers and game developers recognize her importance to the Batman mythos.

Talia’s appearance and skills are reminiscent of Black Widow. She typically wears practical, dark clothing – like a stealth suit and utility belt – and is highly skilled in both unarmed combat and the use of weapons, including firearms and katanas.

This is the first complete look at the Talia al Ghul character from the LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight game. We previously only saw part of her face, hidden by a mask. Talia hasn’t been featured much in the game’s promotion so far, but TT Games now seems ready to fully showcase her appearance and abilities.

Talia has been a significant character in the Batman universe and has appeared in past LEGO Batman video games. Over time, her in-game appearance has become more refined, and her most recent design closely matches her look from the comic books.

Similar to other characters you can play as in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Talia will probably have several different costumes to unlock and collect. This will give players a range of options to customize her appearance while they play.
What to Expect From Talia al Ghul in LEGO Batman 4
In LEGO Batman 4, Talia al Ghul plays a much more important role than she has in previous LEGO DC games. Being one of the seven playable characters means she’ll have unique abilities and receive significant focus, moving beyond a minor character.
We don’t yet know the specific skills each character has. In LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, every character can travel around Gotham in their own way, and they each have unique combat abilities and gadgets. For instance, Catwoman can call upon cats for help, but we’re still waiting to find out what special abilities Talia will have.
Given her history with the League of Shadows, we can expect her fighting style to include ninja-like skills and weapons. Her design, which features a utility belt similar to the one Talia al Ghul used, hints that she’ll have a variety of gadgets, likely focusing on strategic attacks like long-range weapons or tools for hiding, such as smoke bombs.
Fans won’t have to wait long to play LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC on May 22, 2026. The game will reveal more about what Talia is planning.
