Sony will officially announce the free PlayStation Plus Essential games for November 2025 this Wednesday, October 29th. However, reliable leaker Billbil-Kun from Dealabs has already revealed one of the titles before Sony’s announcement.
Next month’s PlayStation Plus game lineup will include Stray, one of three games available for both PS5 and PS4, according to the latest announcement.
PlayStation Plus members may already know the game Stray, as it was initially available on the PS Plus Extra tier. Now, starting November 4th, players with the base PS Plus Essential membership will also be able to play it. Once you download the game through PS Plus Essential, it’s yours to keep as long as you remain a PS Plus member – you won’t need to worry about it being removed from the game catalog.
In our review of Stray for the PlayStation 5, we gave it an 8 out of 10, highlighting its engaging exploration, spacious environments, and impressive animations. We found it to be a very fun adventure overall, despite a few minor flaws. It’s a relatively simple game that really lets you feel like a cat – from rubbing against robots to scratching furniture and finding the perfect napping spots.
