The first Toy Story movie centered on Woody’s difficulty accepting that he wasn’t Andy’s favorite toy anymore, especially with the arrival of Buzz Lightyear. Now, in Toy Story 5, Buzz will face a similar challenge. This new installment brings the series into the present day, with the toys competing for Bonnie’s attention against a wave of modern, high-tech playthings. The trailer for Toy Story 5 suggests Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang will encounter their biggest fear yet.
Pixar released a first look at the new film today, showing the central problem the characters will face. Woody, Buzz, and the other toys are clearly worried about what this new arrival means for them. You can watch the trailer below.
