Officiating Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding is in Flavor Flav‘s wildest dreams.

Chuck D, a founding member of the group Public Enemy and a dedicated Taylor Swift fan, is eager to contribute to Taylor and her boyfriend, the Kansas City Chiefs player’s, wedding or special event – should they want him to.

Flavor Flav told TopMob News at an event in Beverly Hills on September 18th that he’d be thrilled to officiate their wedding. He hasn’t been contacted by the couple directly, but he’s been following their story in the news and on social media.

Oh my gosh, I was absolutely thrilled when I heard the news! Seriously, I’m practically *begging* them to let me officiate their wedding. I would do anything – *anything* – to be up there with them on their big day!

Even if he doesn’t get the chance to pursue that particular goal, he’s still thrilled to support his favorite singer in everything she does.

Oh my gosh, she’s releasing a new album and I’m absolutely losing it! But honestly? It’s not just the music, it’s everything! It feels like she’s starting a whole new chapter, and I’m so incredibly excited for her, for *everything* she’s got going on. It’s more than just an album, it’s a whole new life, and I can’t wait to see it all unfold!

Flavor Flav first became a fan of the Grammy-winning artist when he saw her Eras Tour concert in Detroit in early 2023.

He told *Access Hollywood* in February 2024 that while he was at her concert in Detroit, a lot of young fans started giving him friendship bracelets. He ended up covered in them – on both arms! – and felt really welcomed by them.

Seeing her perform live sparked his interest in the singer’s music – and he became a dedicated fan from that moment on.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship started in July 2023 when Swift’s Eras Tour visited Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Being a big fan of Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end tried to get her attention at the concert by hoping to give her a friendship bracelet with his jersey number on it. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to reach her because she was busy preparing for the show.

Travis explained on his podcast, *New Heights*, that he was a little upset Taylor Swift didn’t talk much before or after her concerts. He understood she needed to protect her voice for the 44 songs she performs, but he wished he’d had a chance to give her one of the friendship bracelets he made.

Following his widely discussed on-field mistake – which he playfully called “metal as hell” – Travis decided to take a chance and invited the famous singer to attend a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

He explained on *The Pat McAfee Show* that he playfully challenged Taylor Swift. He basically said he’d noticed her energetic performances at Arrowhead Stadium and suggested she come see him perform there too, to see who could put on a more exciting show. He indicated something might happen soon.

Travis had grown a mustache, first showing it off in August during football training camp, and that’s how Taylor first met him.

He later recalled that his mustache and number 87 jersey were a memorable look during that time, and he was wearing them when he first met Taylor.

Okay, so I’ve been following everything *so* closely, and a really reliable source told TopMob News that things started heating up with Taylor and Travis way back in early September! Apparently, they were just casually texting and talking at first, but honestly, even that was HUGE news to me. I knew it was the beginning of something special!

“It’s been very low-key,” the insider explained, “as he’s been in season.”

Taylor accepted Travis’ invitation and went to Arrowhead Stadium to watch him and the Kansas City Chiefs play the Chicago Bears, where she sat with his mother, Donna Kelce. After the game, Taylor and Travis were photographed showing affection for each other at a nearby bar.

Despite rumors that they met for the first time in person, the singer of “Karma” explained that they had actually spent a good deal of time getting to know each other before that meeting.

As Taylor noted, “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” 

To show how serious things were getting, Taylor brought a group of her friends – including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, and Antoni Porowski – to see the Chiefs play the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Okay, so things are *really* heating up between Taylor and Travis! As someone who keeps a close eye on these things, I’ve noticed a sweet development: Taylor is becoming close with Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’ wife. They’re connecting both at the games and outside of them, which is a huge sign that Taylor is truly integrating into Travis’ world – and getting the stamp of approval from his inner circle! It’s a really lovely thing to see, and it definitely suggests this could be something special.

The couple showcased their relationship on television with a surprise appearance on the October 14th episode of Saturday Night Live. They continued the fun with the show’s after-party and a romantic dinner at the Waverly Inn.

During the team’s break, Travis flew to Argentina to see Taylor Swift perform on her Eras Tour. At the November 11th concert in Buenos Aires, he connected with Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, and Taylor even gave him a special mention from the stage.

“Karma is that guy on the Chiefs,” Taylor sang, “coming straight home to me.”

Following the performance, Taylor Swift reportedly rushed backstage to meet Travis Kelce, where they shared a kiss.

Taylor addressed the lavender craze surrounding her appearances at Travis’ games.

She told *Time* magazine that she and her partner are comfortable being seen together and supporting each other’s passions, and they don’t worry about what others think. This is in contrast to couples who feel they must go to great lengths to keep their relationship private.

 

The famous singer made Travis’ game on December 17th a family event, bringing her father along to support her boyfriend.

Taylor continued getting to know Travis’ family, spending time with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills.

After the Chiefs won the AFC Championship and earned a place in the 2024 Super Bowl, Taylor joined Travis on the field to celebrate. They shared a kiss and then told each other ‘I love you’ for the first time.
