If you’ve visited Japan, you probably know that convenience stores – often called “konbini” – are a central part of daily life in most neighborhoods.
This place has incredibly tasty food, ranging from pre-packaged snacks to freshly made treats. Their egg sandwiches, in particular, are amazing – they’re so good they should win an award! It’s hard to believe something so simple – eggs and bread – can taste so fantastic.
inKONBINI: One Store, Many Stories is a life simulation game where you run a convenience store, with some simple management elements added in.
I’m already hooked on this game! It’s way more than just another work simulator. You play as Makoto Hayakawa, who’s stepping away from her busy life to lend a hand to her aunt. And the best part? It’s set in 1990s Japan, which gives it such an amazing, authentic feel. Seriously, the atmosphere is perfect!
This visual novel takes inspiration from VA-11 HALL-A and combines storytelling with gameplay. You’ll play minigames to manage the store, and the game promises a mix of engaging conversations, choices that matter, and a relaxing atmosphere.
Great news! The game now has a release date: April 30th. We were hoping for either July 11th or November 7th, but April 30th works too, depending on how you format dates!
