No video game showcase is complete without a few surprising announcements, and Endnight Games delivered with Forest 3. This new installment in The Forest series was revealed with a trailer showing a space traveler stranded on a distant alien planet, hundreds of millions of light years from Earth.
The world is full of strange plants and animals, some of which, like creepy, lunging creatures, can be dangerous. Luckily, you have a robotic arm that can grab these creatures out of the air and scan everything around you – including the massive beast that’s trying to kill you. Especially that one.
Man, the ending of Sons of the Forest left me with so many questions! It didn’t really give us any solid answers, so I’m really curious to see how the story continues and how it all connects to the bigger picture. As for Forest 3, there’s no release date yet, but I’m guessing it’ll hit PC first, probably in early access like the other games.
