Danilo Gallinar’s family experienced a scary underwater incident.
In Puerto Rico, where her husband Danilo is playing basketball professionally, Eleonora Boi, the former NBA star’s wife, recounted that she was attacked by a shark – a day she described as the most difficult in her life.
Elenora shared on her August 1 Instagram post, complete with a selfie from a hospital bed, that she never imagined a shark attack could happen – especially so close to the shore, amidst a bustling beach. Luckily, both she and her child are unscathed.
Elenora, who’s about to welcome her third child with Danilo, shared that they both received prompt treatment that prevented any additional damage, both for her and their unborn baby.
Swiftly saved, my operation for the unfortunate bite on my leg turned out splendidly, if I may say so myself,” I exclaimed. “Now it’s a matter of healing from this harrowing ordeal and finding it in my heart to pardon my trusted friend who let me down.
In a positive spin, the sports journalist (married to an Italian basketball star in 2021) playfully warned the shark, “My legal team will be reaching out to you shortly.
Additionally, Elenora expressed gratitude towards her supporters and shared a heartfelt note for her spouse, who unfortunately couldn’t attend a memorable occasion because of the unfortunate occurrence.
She expressed her gratitude to her husband, who showed immense love and bravery, despite marrying someone like Fantozzi-Boi. He sacrificed attending the Bad Bunny concert today, but their separation is temporary.
The Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DRNA) announced the occurrence of an incident without revealing the victim’s identity. Nevertheless, a local newspaper, El Nuevo Día, disclosed the name Elenora and reported that she sustained a thigh wound during the assault at the Carolina Resort on July 31st.
Based on the findings by DRNA biologist Nilda Jiménez, they are examining Elenora’s wound to identify the specific type of shark responsible for the injury.
According to the photos we received, it appears that the bite marks could resemble those of a shark, Nilda stated in an interview with El Nuevo Día. However, to confirm this suspicion, further investigations are needed. To assist in these analyses, medical professionals have been asked for samples. If obtained, these samples will be analyzed immediately.
