Following a hint on Instagram (which was later taken down), Windows Central has speculated that the upcoming game in the Forza Horizon series, presumably titled Forza Horizon 6, might be officially announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. However, it remains uncertain if the game will indeed take place in Japan this time around.
The Instagram post primarily highlighted the scanning of Kei, a Japanese vehicle brand. Although it doesn’t definitively prove Japan as the location for the upcoming sequel, the timing of the rumored announcement does add more weight to the speculation. However, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has officially confirmed that the next installment of Forza is set to launch next year, without mentioning any specific setting.
After a series of major staff reductions, it’s said that Turn 10 Studios will aid Playground Games in developing the next iteration of Forza Horizon. Keep an eye out for further updates when Tokyo Game Show resumes from September 25th to 28th.
Regarding “Forza Horizon 5”, feel free to read our review of the PS5 edition. This game has made quite an impact in the U.S., with reports stating it sold over two million copies within its first month on the console.
