Forza Horizon 6’s Reveals Full Map of Japan, Playground’s “Most Dense and Vertical Map Yet”

It’s great to hear Playground Games call this their biggest map yet, but seeing it for yourself truly shows just how expansive it is. The full map for Forza Horizon 6 has been revealed, stretching from the snowy Alps in the north all the way to the vibrant city of Tokyo in the south. However, it’s the diverse landscapes connecting these areas that are the most captivating.

The new Togue Battles are set in challenging mountain passes, including those on Mt. Haruna and Bandai Azuma. You’ll be driving along winding roads, mastering the art of drifting. Keep an eye out for one route that leads to a stunning, secluded area completely surrounded by mountains.

Routes like the 14.8-kilometer C1 Inner Circular Route, a fast loop perfect for nighttime racing, offer thrilling drives. For a more relaxed experience, Ginkgo Avenue, though only 300 meters long, boasts over 140 beautiful ginkgo trees, encouraging players to explore Japan at a slower pace when they’re not focused on winning.

It’s also worth mentioning that the developers at Playground Games describe this as their most detailed and layered map so far. If you enjoy getting lost in expansive open worlds, that’s great news!

Forza Horizon 6 comes out on May 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Players who purchase the Premium Edition can start playing on May 15th. A PlayStation 5 version will be released later in 2024.
