The latest installment in the racing series, Forza Horizon 6, launched on May 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PC, taking players to Japan – a location fans have been asking for! The game features a remarkably detailed version of Tokyo, and it’s the largest environment the developers at Playground Games have ever created – five times bigger than anything they’ve done before.
The game features diverse districts, each with a distinct feel. While you’ll find interesting things everywhere you go, having a home base is important. That’s why player-owned houses are back, and this time they include a garage you can customize. The garage is spacious enough for multiple vehicles, and you can even invite friends to visit and hang out.
Ever wanted to create and personalize your own mountain valley? The Estate lets you transform a blank landscape into a fully functional and thriving base.
The game also introduces exciting new features like open-world Car Meets, letting you connect with other players and compete in Touge Battles – fast-paced races down winding mountain roads. Plus, Horizon Time Attack Circuits allow you to jump straight into a race without any loading screens or waiting for matchmaking.
To top it all off, Playground Games hinted at a partnership featuring a massive robot at the end. I’m hoping it’s Mobile Suit Gundam, but Macross would be great too!
