Despite Microsoft’s recent cost-cutting measures leading to the cancellation of several projects, both developers Turn 10 and Playground Games have assured continued support for the racing sim game, “Forza Motorsport,” as well as the open-world racing game, “Forza Horizon 5.” In a new post on their official website, Turn 10 has revealed exciting new content coming to “Forza Motorsport,” specifically highlighting the Track Toys Tour for this update.
In the latest update of Forza Motorsport, the Track Toys Tour has been made a permanent feature. This return also includes a special reward that players could only earn during the tour’s initial release – the 2019 Porsche #70 Porsche Motorsport 935.
The confirmation from Turn 10 indicates that every month will feature a new Tour added to the game, starting from September 4 with the Ringer Tour. This pattern of Tour releases will persist until all the highlighted Tours return to Forza Motorsport.
Previously, these tours were offered on a short-term basis. Although some players couldn’t finish them when they initially appeared, the studio has confirmed that those players won’t lose their progress. For example, if you had been halfway through the Ringer Tour, by September when the Featured Tour returns, you can continue from the exact point where you left off.
As a dedicated gamer, I’ve come to realize that the thrilling Featured Tours activity only lets you grab the rewards once. So, if you’ve already bagged the Porsche by completing the Track Toys Tour in the past, don’t expect a shiny new one the next time you finish it again.
In addition to the Highlighted Journeys, fresh tasks will be incorporated into the Task Center, enabling participants to garner past Rewards from the Open Class Tournaments. These tasks are planned for release simultaneously with the recurring Highlighted Journeys on a monthly basis.
As a racing enthusiast diving into Track Toys Tour, let me share some exciting details about this thrilling competition! The tour is meticulously divided into four unique series, each with its own special focus on particular vehicles and races. For starters, Series 1, fondly known as Ginetta Juniors, will have you revving up a 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior around the tracks! In contrast, Series 2 offers a wider range of choices, including the powerful 2016 Porsche Cayman GTS.
Moving on to Series 3, it’s all about the agile Caterham R500. And finally, Series 4 will bring things full circle with high-performance track cars like the 2019 Elemental RP1. Completing all series will grant you the prestigious prize – a 2019 Porsche #70 Porsche Motorsport 935! So buckle up and get ready for an exhilarating ride!
In September, the Ringer Tour is all about highlighting German automobiles. Throughout its stages, it showcases iconic cars such as BMW M-series, Mercedes-AMG, and Audi sports vehicles. The grand finale will pit drivers in Porsche 911 against each other. Successfully completing the Ringer Tour rewards players with a 2022 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS.
Finishing certain fresh tasks introduced on the Challenge Hub could grant players prizes such as a 1974 Porsche 911 RSR worth $1 and a 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe.
To the Forza Community, we understand there’s a lot of curiosity about the future of the Forza series, and we can’t thank you enough for your unwavering support. We want to reassure our players that both Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games will remain dedicated to developing Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon titles…
