Forza Motorsport Won’t Receive Any More New Vehicles, Tracks, or Bug Fixes

After job cuts at Turn 10 Studios, the future of new content for Forza Motorsport was uncertain. Although Featured Tours briefly came back, it’s now confirmed: no further content will be released.

Turn 10 has announced that they won’t be adding any new cars, tracks, or features to Forza Motorsport, and they’ve also stopped releasing regular bug fixes. They’re collaborating with Playground Games on Forza Horizon 6, which is scheduled to launch next year on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Turn 10 Studios will handle the PlayStation 5 version after the other releases, so prioritizing Forza Horizon 6 makes logical sense.

Even though it’s a somewhat sad ending for Forza Motorsport, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer assures fans that the series will continue.
