Free Zombie Game Being Given Away Today, but Not for Long

For a limited time, a free zombie game on Steam is being provided! Hurry up if you’re a PC gamer because you often get fantastic deals. Steam, known for its massive seasonal sales and bargain prices on popular games, also gives away free games regularly. Epic Games has been generous with this practice as well, offering titles like Grand Theft Auto V and Civilization 6 for free in the past. Building an impressive game collection on a budget is achievable on PC, especially if you subscribe to services like Amazon Prime that provide free monthly games.

If you’re on the hunt for something fresh to play on Steam, Lenovo currently has an offer that might catch your interest. Not only does this tech company often provide deals, but at this moment, they are giving away a zombie game called “Deadlight“. This game originally debuted in 2012 as an Xbox Live Arcade title from Xbox Game Studios. It’s a 2.5D side-scrolling game set during a zombie apocalypse in Seattle, where you control a character who has become separated from his family and must navigate the city to reach a safe zone, hoping to find his loved ones there. The storyline is intriguing, and the gameplay offers some exciting moments!

If you find the idea enticing, you can grab a copy of the game “Deadlight” from Lenovo’s Gaming Community! A total of 5,000 keys will be distributed using a queue system starting at 1PM ET. When you join, you’ll be added to the line in no particular order, so there’s no need for any complex strategies. All that’s required is having an account with Lenovo Gaming Community to obtain a Steam key for “Deadlight”. Once you have that, you’re all set!

You can view a trailer for Deadlight below.

Back in 2016, I got my hands on the Director’s Cut edition of Deadlight, and let me tell you, it had some cool additional content and improvements that made the gaming experience even better. Now, this version has a Metacritic score of 70 for its PS4 release, so it might not be the best game ever, but hey, who can resist free stuff? Sometimes, hidden gems are found in unexpected places, and maybe you’ll find that the critics were off base on this one!
