The popular anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is returning with a new episode after an unexpected delay. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the continuation of this year’s biggest anime comebacks, and thankfully, the wait is almost over. The first preview of Episode 6 has just been released, giving viewers a glimpse of what’s to come.
The second season of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is past the halfway point, meaning the anime is starting its final story arc. A preview for Episode 8 has been released, hinting at a powerful villain Frieren and her companions will have to battle as they investigate a demon attack. You can see a sneak peek of the episode below before it airs.
How to Watch Frieren Season 2 Episode 6

I’m excited to share that Season 2, Episode 5 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will be available to stream on Crunchyroll starting this Friday, February 27th at 7:00 AM Pacific Time. It’s rolling out to a lot of regions – North, Central, and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India – shortly after its release in Japan. The wait hasn’t been too long, and it seems like we’re heading into the final story arc of this season. Plus, the creators are hinting at a significant new villain, which will be a first for this season!
The next episode follows the magicians Genau and Methode as they travel to a northern village to eliminate demons, at the request of someone named Serie. It turns out this village is Genau’s childhood home. Meanwhile, Fern, Frieren, and Stark also head to the village after receiving a similar request, only to find it already destroyed. The wounds on the victims suggest a specific demon was responsible.
How Will Frieren Season 2 End?

Fans of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will be disappointed to learn that season two will be shorter than the first. It will only have ten episodes, meaning the season is already halfway through. However, the new season will adapt the ‘Divine Revolte’ arc, and a first look at the central demon has been revealed.
The Divine Revolte Arc is the sixth major story arc in the original manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe. It was relatively short, lasting only around five chapters, so it’s hard to predict how many episodes the anime adaptation will cover. Adding to the anticipation, Shinichiro Miki will be voicing the character Revolte, making fans even more eager for its release.
