Disney has revealed a sneak peek at *Frozen 3* through its official WeChat account in China. According to a translation shared by @almanaquedisney on X (formerly Twitter), the movie will feature a grand wedding for Queen Anna and send Elsa on a new, magical adventure with unexpected obstacles. Plus, the royal family is getting a new, intriguing member! *Frozen 3* is currently slated for release in November 2027.

Disney has announced that Jennifer Lee, who co-directed both Frozen movies, will lead the next Frozen project. The original voice actors – Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad – are all expected to return, but they haven’t begun recording their parts yet.

Josh Gad recently shared with Collider that filming hasn’t started yet – neither he nor any of the other actors have recorded dialogue or listened to any new music. This confirms the project is still in the beginning phases. Along with this news, details emerged about the plot, which will include Anna and Kristoff’s wedding and the introduction of a new character to their family.

The Frozen movies have followed the adventures of sisters Anna and Elsa since the first film came out in 2013. The second movie, Frozen 2, released in 2019, delved deeper into their family’s past, revealing that their mother, Queen Iduna, was connected to the Northuldra people. This discovery explained Elsa’s special role as a magical spirit protecting the Enchanted Forest, and the next film is likely to continue exploring this storyline.

The third Frozen movie is scheduled to come out globally on November 24, 2027, produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Jennifer Lee is directing the film, and Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are composing the music again.
