The series, which also stars Keith David, Tim Blake Nelson, and many others, uses the setting of Tulsa, Oklahoma, effectively to create a captivating mystery.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming for Season 2 of The Lowdown will begin in Tulsa this spring. So far, only actor Ethan Hawke is confirmed to return. If production stays on schedule, The Lowdown could release its new season within a year of the last one, keeping viewers engaged and preventing a long wait between seasons.
