About

201X’s Christmas Eve. Snowflakes were replaced by ash, and out of the wreckage emerged a chilling presence. The once peaceful night in Tokyo turned into chaos.

In the devastated cityscape of Tokyo, hordes of malevolent demons rule. On your journey, what formidable demons await you, and where will your decisions guide you?

Series Overview

Title belongs to the Shin Megami Tensei series, initially available only on Japanese feature phones – a type of mobile device that was prevalent prior to the advent of smartphones.

In the “Shin Megami Tensei” series, players embark on a role-playing adventure set within Tokyo, Japan, where they forge alliances with various demons and engage in combat together.

The game preserves several distinctive features from the franchise, such as Demon Negotiation, Demon Fusion, and Alignment mechanisms. These elements are likely to feel familiar to long-term fans.

Story

On Christmas Eve, the main character finds himself out on a romantic evening with his girlfriend at a brand-new attraction in Tokyo that had just recently been unveiled.

Although she appears to be having a good time, he finds himself feeling hollow and disconnected, as if there’s a void within him that hasn’t been filled.

While he thoughtfully ponders in silence, an enigmatic text emerges on his phone. The identity of the sender remains obscure. Accompanying this: a peculiar file labeled as D.I.O. System.

At that very moment, without any warning or radar detection, an ICBM streaks through the Tokyo sky.

The missile manages to bypass all defensive measures, eventually striking the capital – a taunting demonstration of its destructive power, leaving complete destruction in an instant, thus rendering the Japanese Self-Defense Forces’ attempts futile.

And then, from the ashes, they appeared.

Countless beings, twisted and inhuman—demons—emerged to greet the few survivors of the apocalypse.

Gameplay Features

Players now have the opportunity to re-summon demons they’ve previously bonded with, using an enigmatic ritual within the Cathedral of Shadows, thanks to a fresh Demon Re-Summoning system.

Furthermore, demons can now accumulate experience and advance levels during combat, allowing you to enhance and develop your preferred allies.

Game System

This game allows players to form a party of up to three players, including the main character.

Through victories, not just the protagonist, but also their companions accumulate experience. Upon reaching higher levels, they acquire points for attributes such as Strength, Intelligence, Magic, Stamina, Agility, and Fortune.

The game includes a “Sword Combinations” system that lets players blend a chosen weapon with a demon. Your goal is to overcome dungeons and enhance the main character’s gear in the process.
