I’ve been waiting ages for news about Citadel, and finally we have a confirmed return date! It’s been three years since the first season dropped on Prime Video, so I’m so excited to see what happens next.
The hit series starring Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Stanley Tucci is coming back for a second season on May 6th. All seven episodes will be available to stream on Prime Video at the same time.
In addition to the returns of Chris Pine as Mason Kane, Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Nadia Sinh, and Stanley Tucci as Bernard Orlick, Lesley Manville and Ashleigh Cummings will also be back for the next installment.
The cast is growing with the addition of Jack Reynor, Matt Berry, Lina El Arabi, Merle Dandridge, Gabriel Leone, and Rayna Vallandingham.

Anthony and Joe Russo, the directors behind the Avengers films, are back as executive producers. Joe Russo will also direct, working with Greg Yaitanes.
Although the original Citadel series took a while to return, it has inspired two new shows in the meantime. Both the Italian series Citadel: Diana and the Indian series Citadel: Honey Bunny launched in 2024.
