He’s a seriously talented guy – you might know his work from shows like House of Cards and Severance, or the movie The Ides of March. He even worked on Andor, which was fantastic. So, if anyone can handle the weight of a Game of Thrones movie, it’s definitely him. This is definitely a development to keep an eye on!
According to Page Six, Warner Bros. executives were very impressed with the latest draft of the script, suggesting the project is likely to be approved. Industry professionals are now waiting for the studio to officially announce if production will begin. Given the recent success of Game of Thrones thanks to its spin-offs, House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, this move makes sense, particularly if the circulating plot details are accurate.
