Right now, GameStop offers an excellent deal on a first-person shooter for Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X users at a super low price of $1.99. For PlayStation users, the game can be purchased for just $4.99, available for both PS4, PS5, and PS5 Pro. However, it’s important to note that these deals are only on pre-owned copies of the game. The duration of this offer is currently unknown.
The game under discussion, released in 2016, stands out not just as one of the top first-person shooters for that year, but among the best for the entire PS4 and Xbox One console era. Some even claim it’s one of the greatest first-person shooters ever made. Regrettably, its multiplayer aspect is less active, and it grapples with a hacking issue. However, its single-player campaign is also regarded as one of the finest in first-person shooter history.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, the game we’re referring to is Titanfall 2, developed by Respawn Entertainment (the creators of Apex Legends) and published by EA. This game, as its title implies, is a sequel to the 2014 release titled Titanfall. At launch, Titanfall 2 received an 89 on Metacritic, along with positive feedback from consumers alike.
“Summon your Titan and prepare for a thrilling first-person shooter adventure in Titanfall 2. The follow-up introduces a fresh single-player storyline focusing on the connection between the Pilot and Titan. Alternatively, dive headfirst into an even more creative and intense multiplayer action with 6 new Titans, powerful new Pilot skills, expanded customization options, new maps, game modes, and much more.”
To make a fair comparison, right now Titanfall 2 costs $19.99 on the PlayStation Store. But if you’d rather get a digital copy and are willing to pay an additional $2, it’s currently on sale for $3.99 on the Microsoft Store. On Steam, though, the price of the EA first-person shooter is actually $29.99, as only the Ultimate Edition is available at the moment.
