On Saturday morning, it was noticed that the actor known for playing Gavin Shipman in a well-liked comedy series was having breakfast with his wife Celina Bassili by observant fans.
In a black sweatshirt, shorts, and a coordinating cap, he and Celina were found talking about the bands they planned to watch.
One bystander informed TopMob: “Matt’s long hair made him nearly unidentifiable, but upon hearing his distinctive voice, there could be no mistaking it was him.
There was absolutely no fuss or ceremony surrounding him, despite his significant popularity; instead, he was seen peacefully enjoying the sunshine with his spouse, away from the usual glitz and glamour associated with many high-profile celebrities.
Just a few short months have passed since he shone brightly in the Gavin and Stacey Christmas special, an event that captivated a staggering 18 million viewers.

On Instagram, Celina shared a collection of images and clips following her and Mat’s, aged 46, arrival at Worthy Farm, which also included a heartwarming picture of them both.
Mat previously attended Glastonbury in 2009.
In 2021, Mat and Celina got married privately at a 1930s-style Norwegian mansion, where Celina is originally from. Their romance started back in 2019, and they tied the knot in secret.

In the series “Gavin and Stacey,” which premiered in 2007, Mat portrays Gavin, who is the son of characters Pam and Mick Shipman.
Close friends, including James Corden and Joanna Page from the show Gavin & Stacey, are said to have knowledge about the birth that was kept private by the couple initially.
A source told The Sun: ‘Mathew is a brilliant dad and he and Celina love being parents.
‘Celina’s brother has a son who is a similar age and they loved spending time together.
Mathew chose to keep the information private since he enjoys living a low-key lifestyle, despite being widely recognized as one of the stars from Gavin & Stacey.

Through that kiss, it seemed as though he was indicating that his romantic involvement with Evelyn Hoskins, the Casualty actress whom he had proposed to in October, had ended.
A spokesperson later told TopMob: ‘Mathew and Evelyn separated amicably in October 2018.’
