It appears that “Gears of War: Reloaded” will make its PlayStation 5 debut next month, hinting at the possibility of another game in the series, “Gears of War: E-Day,” also heading towards the same platform. This information comes from MP1st, who found a game designer’s resume that includes PS5, alongside the previously announced Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms.
Indeed, t Reloaded, on all three platforms concurrently, it’s quite likely that the same might happen with State of Decay 3.
It’s plausible that both versions of “State of Decay,” including the original and the second one, might eventually appear on PlayStation 5. This could potentially expose the series to a fresh group of players. However, whether this will happen considering the unclear number of layoffs at Undead Labs is yet to be determined.
There’s no set date for either game, but Gears of War: E-Day is expected to drop next year. As for State of Decay 3, it’s been whispered that it might release around the same time. Keep an eye on our updates in the coming months for more information.
