Genndy Tartakovsky’s Fixed Releases New Red-Band Trailer (And It Has To Be Seen To Be Believed)

Known for his diverse animation creations that strike a chord with audiences, Genndy Tartakovsky has built a reputation in this field. Shows like Samurai Jack and Primal are dark and intense, depicting their main characters battling through their respective worlds in a deadly serious manner. However, Tartakovksy isn’t a stranger to comedy, having previously worked on series such as Dexter’s Lab. Now, Genndy is diving back into the realm of humor with his new project, “Fixed,” which promises to be raunchy based on its latest Netflix trailer.

In a change from his previous works, Genndy Tartakovsky’s movie titled “Fixed” is not a grim, ongoing narrative. Instead, it’s a comedic feature film focusing on the character Bull, a dog who is about to be neutered. He decides to have one last wild night before the operation. Initially, Warner Bros Discovery had put this film aside, but it was revitalized following its acquisition by Netflix. Set for release on August 13th, the movie boasts an impressive cast that includes Adam DeVine, Idris Elba, Kathryn Hahn, Fred Armisen, Beck Bennett, and Bobby Moynihan.

The Fix Is Almost In

Next month, Sony Pictures Animation and director Genndy Tartakovsky will present “Fixed”, an adult-oriented animated comedy. The story revolves around Bull, an ordinary, good-natured dog who learns he’s going to be neutered the next morning. As the reality of this life-changing event sinks in, Bull decides to embark on one last adventure with his group of best friends before bidding farewell to his… unique features! But, what could possibly go wrong?

Tartakovsky isn’t confining himself to just one project in the animation field; he is presently working on reviving Primal for Adult Swim. In contrast to what we saw with Spear and Fang, the forthcoming seasons promise a thrilling departure from the established narrative. The climactic events of the second season finale will pave the way for an anthology-style storytelling approach, exploring fresh brutal stories scattered across different dimensions and eras.

Earlier, Tartakovsky suggested that the third season of “Primal” will be on an unprecedented scale. He stated, “We’ve taken everything we did in the first season and increased it for the second. The third season is even bigger. I can’t reveal too much without spoiling it, but it’s just bigger, it’s shocking, and it’s unstoppable. At times, you’ll feel like you can’t believe you’re watching this. Quality-wise, animation-wise, story-wise, emotionally, I’m not exaggerating when I say that I rarely feel this proud of a project.
