Genokids will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on October 2, developer Nukefist announced.
The initial Early Access version will include the first part of the game’s story. When the full game is released, it will add two more story sections, complete with new areas to explore, hidden items, skills, upgrades, enemies, challenging bosses, weapons, and new combat moves for characters that aren’t yet available.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
Genokids is a high-energy, action-packed game where a group of musicians fight off an alien invasion, all driven by the power of motivation!
- Play as four characters at the same time, each with their own moveset!
- Smoothly navigate through the ruins of Las Divas using slick parkour moves.
- Style your way through waves of enemies, what’s the point of saving the world if you don’t look cool doing it?
- Follow the bombastic tale of this band of misfits as they make the impossible, possible.
The band Genokids was having a fantastic concert when things took a strange turn. The Infinite Empire of Zenodia suddenly invaded Earth, landing directly on the band and bringing their show – and humanity’s peaceful day – to an abrupt end.
Quickly switch between any of the four characters during combat. You can also perform multiple actions simultaneously!
Go beyond your limits and enter HYPER MODE!
MOTIVATION IS MANKIND’S GREATEST WEAPON!
