Just what the heck is Geoff Keighley teasing?
The host and producer of events like The Game Awards and Summer Game Fest shared a puzzling message on X (formerly Twitter), sparking a lot of speculation among fans.

The phrase from the post leads to a specific location in the Mojave Desert in California when used on the what3words navigation website.
It’s close to a place called Joshua Tree, between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Following the release of a new image, fans are speculating that a game announcement is coming at The Game Awards 2025. They’re sharing lots of different theories about what it could be.
Okay, so everyone’s buzzing about what PlayStation might announce next! From what I’m seeing, the biggest guesses are a new God of War game, a fresh Diablo title, The Elder Scrolls 6 (which we’ve been waiting ages for!), and even a remastered version of Fallout: New Vegas. Those are the frontrunners, at least!
So, I was reading about this road near Valve, called Yucca Mesa Road, and everyone’s getting super hyped that it might have something to do with the announcement of Half-Life 3. It’s just a road, but you know how rumors go!
Also coming up in conversation is the new Tomb Raider game and Santa Monica Studio’s new IP.
Whatever the case, this is almost certainly a teaser of some kind.
I’m getting so excited! The Game Awards are almost here – just a couple of weeks away! – and that means we’re starting to get little hints and confirmations about who’s going to be there. It’s always fun to see what surprises they have in store!
