Now, both couples have shown why they deserve the title: the actor revealed he and his wife haven’t argued in a decade, and the football player shared that the same is true for him and the singer.
While talking to the Kelce brothers on their podcast, New Heights, George Clooney discussed his upcoming 2025 movie. The conversation then turned to his personal life, with Travis Kelce asking Clooney if it was true he and his wife, Amal, hadn’t argued in ten years. Clooney insisted he was telling the truth and playfully turned the question back to Travis.

We’ve gotten a wonderful look inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship this year. We’ve seen their engagement photos, Taylor announced her upcoming project The Life of a Showgirl on the New Heights podcast, and their romance will be featured in The End of an Eras, the documentary about The Eras Tour, which will be available on Disney+ starting December 12th.
They generally prefer to keep their relationship out of the public eye, so I was really surprised when Travis actually answered Clooney’s question by saying:
It’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right – I haven’t had a single argument. Not once.
It’s surprising to hear that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, who began dating in 2023, haven’t had a single argument, much like George and Amal Clooney who have been married since 2014. While they always appear to have a strong relationship, most couples experience disagreements, making this news both noteworthy and intimate.
Hearing how Jay Kelly and his wife achieved this made their announcement even more heartwarming. The actor then went on to explain:
Honestly, you know, neither of us are going to win the argument, so why get in it?
Then, Jason Kelce wondered how to make that happen. Clooney happily replied with the secret to avoiding arguments and having a strong, healthy relationship, and went on to explain:
At my age – I’m 64 – I’ve realized what’s truly important. I’ve found an amazing woman, someone who is both beautiful and intelligent, and who shares my values. I feel incredibly fortunate, and that makes it easy to let go of disagreements. Why would I argue when I have so much to be grateful for?
Like a classic George Clooney move, he playfully suggested the brothers could take his advice if they wished, and both agreed they would. Travis even chimed in, saying he’d been “taking notes the whole time.”
It seems like George and Amal Clooney have a wonderful marriage, and people really appreciate how open they are about their life as a couple and as parents. It makes sense that other celebrity couples, like the Jonas Brothers, are looking to him for relationship advice – he clearly knows what he’s doing.
It seems Travis Kelce hasn’t had any arguments with Taylor Swift during their two and a half years as a couple, as he claims they’ve never fought.
