Gerry Turner isn’t protecting anyone’s feelings in his new memoir.
Gerry Turner, from *The Golden Bachelor*, is releasing his memoir, *Golden Years*, on November 4th. He recently shared his thoughts on how his former wife, Theresa Nist, might react to his reflections on their relationship during his time on *The Bachelor*.
In an interview with *US Weekly* published on October 13th, he stated, “I’m not worried; I think she should be.”
TopMob News reached out to reps for Theresa regarding Gerry’s statement but has not yet heard back.
The 74-year-old, who split from his wife Theresa last April only four months after their wedding, said he’ll also reveal his own mistakes in his upcoming project.
Gerry admitted he was inexperienced and didn’t listen carefully enough. He realized he should have asked more questions, both to understand things better himself and to help Theresa. He believes that if he had been a better communicator, things might have turned out differently.
Despite everything, the Bachelor Nation star wouldn’t trade his relationship with Theresa for anything. He recently announced his engagement to Lana Sutton and explained, “Looking back, I’m glad things unfolded as they did, because it ultimately led me to where I am today.”
Although 72-year-old Theresa has discussed what led to the end of her short marriage to Gerry, she also remembers their time together with fondness.
In an Instagram post following her separation announcement in April 2024, Theresa shared that the experience had been one of the most amazing of her life and completely unexpected. She admitted she’d always believed their relationship would last forever, but realized that even at 70, life can still surprise you.
You know, looking back on my three-month marriage to Gerry, I realized there were actually a lot of good things that came out of it. Life doesn’t always follow the script you write, and I’ve learned it’s perfectly okay when things don’t go as planned. It’s all about finding the positives and moving forward.

Spencer Conley, who made a good impression on Jenn Tran with his friendly personality on *The Bachelorette*, found a connection on season 10 of *Bachelor in Paradise*. He shared a post with Jess Edwards (who previously tried to win over Joey Graziadei on *The Bachelor*) hinting they were falling for each other—a common way to say they aren’t ready to say “I love you” yet. In an August 2025 Instagram post, Spencer declared he’d “already won.”
Jess also expressed her excitement online, writing that she was feeling happy about Spencer. The couple chose their relationship over a $250,000 prize and got engaged, then were surprised with a $190,000 check. Jess shared that everything they’d experienced together had brought them to this special moment. She’s now planning to move to Dallas to be with Spencer.
Status: Dating
Bailey Taylor Brown shared on Instagram in August 2025 that her date with Jeremy Simon was the best first date she’d ever had, after taking him out during the tenth season of *Paradise*. But could it also be their last? Bailey, who originally competed for Grant Ellis’s affection, and Jeremy, who almost won the heart of *The Bachelorette*’s Jenn, managed to overcome their biggest fight yet when Bailey discovered Jeremy had hesitated about sending Susie Evans home.
Despite the drama, their connection continued to grow in Costa Rica. Although they didn’t make it to the end of *Bachelor in Paradise*, they decided to continue dating after the show. They’ve even met each other’s families and are planning to move to the same city, according to the show.

Okay, so it looks like things are still heating up between Andrew Spencer, who you might remember from Katie Thurston’s season, and Alexe Godin from Grant’s season! They’ve clearly stayed connected since filming wrapped. Andrew publicly called Alexe his ‘mon amour’ on Instagram, and she sweetly responded, calling *him* ‘mon chéri’! It’s so cute to see! And even though they chose love over the big prize on *Bachelor in Paradise*, they still walked away with a very nice $125,000 – not bad at all!
“This is incredible,” Alexe exclaimed. “I’m leaving with money, but more importantly, with love.”
The show then revealed that Alexe plans to move to Chicago with Andrew, bringing their relationship to the Windy City.
Status: Dating
Kat and Dale faced a difficult situation during the *Bachelor in Paradise* finale when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat had been secretly communicating with an ex-boyfriend through letters and a laptop. Kat, however, denied contacting him while on the show. She explained that she and her ex had still been in contact before coming on the show, as she hadn’t expected to find someone new.
Although Kat and Dale didn’t make it to the final rose ceremony, their relationship continued to grow after the show. Viewers learned that the couple from Zach Shallcross’ and Clare Crawley’s seasons traveled the U.S. together and were planning a future together, including moving closer to each other.
Dale wrote under Kat’s August 2025 Instagram post, ‘It wasn’t always easy, but we got through it together, and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.’
Status: Just friends—for now
After leaving season 10 of *Bachelor in Paradise*, Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima (who was a finalist on *Golden Bachelor*) seemed optimistic about their future together, even posting about creating new memories. However, Leslie, who once inspired musician Prince, isn’t certain she wants to pursue a romantic relationship with Gary.
She shared that she and Gary talk constantly. Appearing on Bachelor Happy Hour in August 2025, she described him as one of her closest friends – someone she turns to for support when she’s struggling. They’re always there for each other and have a strong bond of mutual support.
Even though they live far apart – she’s in Minnesota and he’s in California – she’s still optimistic about their connection. She explained that, for her, the most important part of any relationship, especially a romantic one, is building a strong friendship first. She wants to be with someone she considers her best friend as they both get older.
Status: Just friends
Kim Buike, a frontrunner on *Golden Bachelorette*, connected with Faith Martin, who received the first impression rose on Gerry Turner’s season of *The Bachelor*. Although they didn’t find lasting love on *Paradise* season 10, they continued dating afterward. Faith shared on Instagram in August 2025 that Kim had visited her in Washington for a hometown date. Ultimately, they decided they were better suited as friends. In a September 2025 Instagram video, Faith explained they talk several times a week despite living far apart, but confirmed they never fell in love, despite having a strong connection on the show.
Grant initially connected with 25 women on *The Bachelor*, but ultimately chose Juliana Pasquarosa. Sadly, the couple broke up less than three months after their proposal was shown on television.
Grant announced on Instagram on June 13th that he and Juliana have decided to break up. He explained that they both tried their best and cared for each other deeply, but after careful consideration, they realized they weren’t compatible for the future.
Joan Vassos found love after appearing on *The Golden Bachelor* and then becoming the first *Golden Bachelorette*. She handed out the final rose to, and got engaged to, Chock Chapple on the show.
During the November 2024 finale of *The Golden Bachelorette*, Joan shared a message of hope, saying, ‘We’re proof that even at our age, there’s always hope, no matter what challenges life brings.’ Just before Chock proposed in Bora Bora, she told him, ‘I’ve waited for this moment, in this beautiful place, to tell you that I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you—waking up with you every morning and kissing you goodnight.’
At the end of season 21 of *The Bachelorette*, it seemed like Jenn Tran, who previously appeared on *The Bachelor*, had found love with Devin Strader. However, during the *After the Final Rose* episode in September 2024, Jenn shared that Devin quickly became distant once filming wrapped up.
Jenn explained to Jesse Palmer that he had strongly declared his love for her, but the very next day acted as if those feelings never existed. She said all the promises and affection he’d expressed were suddenly gone.
The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective. In the video, he took responsibility for his actions and detailed the reasons behind the breakup, which he had initially discussed in a 15-minute phone call.
Jenn said he ended their relationship during a phone call in August, but he insists she pressed him for answers when he was trying to tell her in person.
He said he hadn’t seen another option, especially since he wanted to tell her face-to-face. Ultimately, she made him reveal it.
Jenn then appeared on *Dancing With the Stars* and began a relationship with her dance partner, Sasha Farber. They continued to dance together even after being eliminated in October 2024, but eventually broke up in 2025.
I was so excited when Greg Grippo showed up on Bachelor in Paradise with Victoria Fuller back in November 2022 – I remembered him from Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette! They seemed really happy together and announced they were officially a couple on the finale. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. Greg shared in April 2024 that they’d broken up, and honestly, I was really disappointed to hear it.
Before revealing their relationship on the season finale of *Bachelor in Paradise*, Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo had already broken things off with their respective partners. Victoria had ended her engagement with fellow cast member Johnny DePhillipo.
Gerry Nist and Theresa Nist got engaged in November 2023, during the first-ever *Golden Bachelor* finale, and married in a televised ceremony in January 2024. They are now divorced.
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
Gerry and Theresa have been having open and honest conversations about their relationship and living arrangements. As a result, they’ve jointly decided to get a divorce, as they shared during an appearance on *Good Morning America* in April 2024.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.
In April 2025, Gerry shared on the *Bachelor Happy Hour* podcast that he was seeing someone and things were progressing nicely.
Tennis star Joey has found love! After dating 32 women, he proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson during the March 2024 season finale. Joey was captivated by Kelsey’s positive energy, saying it was a feeling he’d never experienced before. He shared that meeting her showed him just how wonderful his life could be, and he’s excited to build a future with her.
John Henry Spurlock, who competed for Charity Lawson’s affection on *The Bachelor*, and Kat Izzo, from Zach Shallcross’ season, found a connection on *Bachelor in Paradise*, but their romance didn’t last. They explained on Instagram that they were heading in different directions because of their careers, but they were thankful for the support they received from family, friends, and fans of *The Bachelor* franchise.
Eliza Isichei, who previously dated Clayton Echard, is engaged! Despite initial nervousness about finding love again, she happily said yes to Aaron Bryant’s proposal by the ocean. She was especially touched that Aaron asked her mother for her blessing, admitting she was overcome with emotion.
However, the couple revealed they’ve decided to end their engagement after facing some challenges following their time in Mexico. They announced the split in December 2023, sharing on social media that they are parting ways amicably with positivity and respect for each other.
Despite initially being disappointed that boyfriend Aven Jones didn’t propose in a traditional way—something he had apparently been ready to do on *The Bachelorette*—Kylee Russell accepted his proposal to try and make their relationship work on *Paradise*. She admitted she hadn’t even unpacked the engagement dress she’d been planning for, but felt it was the right decision, believing that love requires taking chances. However, just two days after the season finale aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on social media that the relationship had ended due to Aven’s infidelity. Aven later apologized, acknowledging his mistakes and the pain he caused Kylee.
Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of *The Bachelorette* ended! She hinted to TopMob News that things were going well, but her August 2023 finale was even more exciting than she let on. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposed to Charity, a child and family therapist, getting down on one knee and calling their love “perfect.” He asked her to make their relationship a lasting reality.
Although they’re planning a wedding for 2025 or 2026, Charity won’t be waiting long to dance! Dotun surprised her on *The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose* with the news that she’ll be a contestant on *Dancing With the Stars*. He knows how much she loves to dance and was excited to share the amazing opportunity with her.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following Zach Shallcross’s journey, and I’m thrilled to share that he *did* find his happily ever after! Despite a bit of drama during the Fantasy Suites, Zach proposed to Kaity Biggar in March of 2023, telling her she was his world and that his love for her was beyond anything he’d ever imagined. And the big news keeps coming – in July 2023, they announced they’d taken the next step and become official roommates! It’s so lovely to see these two building a life together.
Kaity and her partner got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. They had originally planned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she shared on the *Bachelor Happy Hour* podcast in June 2025, she wanted to focus on what truly mattered: their love and connection, rather than getting caught up in minor details.
However, one thing especially delighted her: the aunt who signed her up to compete for Zach’s affection had discovered the beautiful chapel near Austin where they held their wedding. “It was exactly what I’d hoped for,” Kaity shared.
Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who seemed like a promising couple after meeting on *Bachelor in Paradise*, have broken up. Despite Danielle moving to Ohio to be with Michael and his son James, they decided to go their separate ways about a year later. Michael explained on a podcast that while they cared for each other, they weren’t a good long-term match, and he’s grieving the loss of the future they had planned together. Both had experienced significant loss previously – Danielle lost her fiancé to a drug overdose, and Michael’s wife passed away, leaving him as a single father.
Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on season seven of *Paradise*, telling her he would love her forever. Sadly, their relationship didn’t last. Just five months after getting engaged on the show, the couple announced their split in May 2023. In a joint statement on Instagram, they explained that trying to make things work had been very difficult with so much public attention. They shared that they were both heartbroken and asked for privacy and kindness.
Pilot Rachel and contractor Tino Franco ended their engagement after he kissed someone else while their season of the show was still airing. Tino later admitted on the podcast *The Viall Files* that he deeply regrets his actions. He said he doesn’t excuse what he did, that it was unfair to Rachel, and that he still feels ashamed and wishes he could have handled things differently.
Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which played out on *The Bachelor* in 2022, had a complicated journey. After Susie initially turned Clayton down in the finale, they briefly reconnected, but ultimately broke up six months later. Susie, a videographer based in Los Angeles, has explained that the split was necessary for her own well-being. In a blog post, she shared that she wasn’t thriving in the relationship and felt like she was losing her spark, despite having some happy times together. She realized she needed to prioritize becoming the best version of herself.
Susie began dating Justin Glaze, who is known from *The Bachelor* franchise, but they ended their relationship in August 2024.
Michelle, an elementary school teacher from Minnesota, received a proposal and a $200,000 check for a future home from Nayte Olukoya, a sales executive from Texas, after appearing on a reality show. However, the couple broke up six months after the show’s finale in December 2021, as they ultimately didn’t have a strong enough connection. Nayte later admitted on a podcast that their relationship was filled with conflict and that ending things without an in-person conversation was a mistake. Michelle later began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they became engaged the following year, marrying in Minnesota in June 2025.
Fans were really rooting for Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian as a couple, picturing a happy future together. However, the couple from season seven of *BIP* only lasted a few months. The first same-sex couple from *Bachelor in Paradise* got engaged on season six, but they revealed they had broken up in 2019 on Halloween.
We’ve always cared deeply for each other, and making the best decision for both of us has always been our priority. With love and sadness, we’ve decided to separate so we can both grow as individuals. This is what we believe is best for our future and for where we are right now, as shared in a joint statement.

Before their November 2023 wedding – a 65-person oceanfront ceremony in Puerto Rico – the couple cemented their bond with matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023.
Status: Married
Becca Kufrin, who previously starred on *The Bachelorette*, and Thomas Jacobs, known from Katie Thurston’s season of *The Bachelor*, found love on season seven of *Bachelor in Paradise* in 2021. They briefly broke up during filming but got back together afterward. In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca had proposed, and she expressed her hope that it would inspire others to break tradition. Thomas returned the gesture by proposing to her in October of the same year. They welcomed their son, Benson, in September 2023, with Becca sharing on Instagram how much love and wonder they felt for their new baby. Just weeks after Benson’s birth, the couple had a surprise wedding ceremony on October 13th.

In the 2021 finale of *The Bachelorette*, Katie got engaged to Blake Moynes. They first admitted their feelings for each other during a memorable overnight date that included paintball, a relaxing soak in a cowboy tub, and a romantic conversation under the stars.

Just three months after getting engaged, the couple announced they were breaking up.
