While fans are excited about future legends and downloadable content, Sucker Punch is quickly adding new features to Ghost of Tsushima. They announced on the PlayStation Blog that New Game Plus will be available as a free update on November 24th.
When you start a new game, you’ll keep all your skills, weapons, and armor. As the developers put it, this lets you face any challenge, even bringing a powerful gun to a battle meant for swords! Beyond increased difficulty levels and two new trophies to earn, you’ll also find over 30 new cosmetic items and 10 new Charms. You can unlock these new looks and customizations by finding Ghost Flowers throughout the game.
You’ll also be able to improve your weapons and gear to make them even more powerful. If you don’t want to start a New Game Plus but still want to revisit earlier parts of the game and see how your character has grown, that option will be available. Plus, Photo Mode is getting some cool updates like new filters, shutter speed controls, and a grid to help you frame your perfect shot.
