Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Yōtei will be released worldwide on October 2nd, five years after the original Ghost of Tsushima. However, you might be able to play it sooner depending on where you live. Sony recently told IGN that the open-world action-adventure game will launch on October 1st at 9 PM PST.
That means the release will happen at 11 PM Central Time and 12 AM Eastern Time on October 2nd in the US. For everyone else, it will be available at midnight local time. Please be mindful of spoilers from players who get access before you.
Ghost of Yōtei will release with a substantial day one update. This patch addresses several bugs and enhances features like Ray Tracing Mode and game stability, among other improvements.
