As the release of *Ghost of Yōtei* gets closer, PlayStation has shared a new trailer highlighting how the game will use the PS5’s features. While adaptive triggers and haptic feedback are common in PlayStation exclusives, this trailer focuses on the unique ways they’ll be implemented in this expansive open-world adventure.
The bow’s triggers offer a noticeable resistance when you aim, and Atsu’s grip seems unsteady as she holds her shot. The game’s vibrations let you feel impacts from any direction, making each weapon strike feel real. You’ll also get a satisfying sensation when pulling back a kusarigama or successfully blocking an attack.
The PlayStation 5’s fast solid-state drive does more than just speed up game loading-it enhances the experience, like when you’re taken back to Atsu’s childhood. And if that wasn’t impressive enough, the 3D audio really pulls you into the game world, making it even more immersive with support for 4K resolution.
The game *Ghost of Yōtei* will be released on October 2nd for PlayStation 5 and aims to improve upon everything players liked in the previous version. Interestingly, despite these improvements, the development costs are about the same. You can find more information here.
