Following the release of a fresh story trailer and the reveal of “Ghost of Yōtei Legends” scheduled for 2026, Sucker Punch has resumed its usual routine of showcasing the various weapons featured in its open-world game title. In this instance, they are focusing on firearms, a novelty to the series. Yet, if these trailers have shown us anything, it’s that Atsu is adept at all sorts of lethal techniques.
The scenario initiates with an acrobatic dive towards a mid-air gun firing, followed by a switch to a two-handed musket. Amusingly, her reloading animation is portrayed in slow motion, making it seem like she has supernatural speed when it comes to reloading, much to the surprise of her adversaries. Nevertheless, her weapons are extremely effective, often eliminating targets with just one shot.
Afterward, Atsu employs her pair of blades, launching a series of assaults to breach defenses and retaliate against adversaries. Previously, we’ve witnessed her hurling spears like missiles, but now it has been established that she can also hurl discarded katanas, expanding the variety of combative maneuvers at her disposal. Those sharp-eyed might even notice a wolf lending aid (and a paw, and its teeth) subtly in the backdrop.
On October 2nd, the Ghost of Yōtei will be released for PlayStation 5. Keep an eye out as there are still more weapons to be revealed! For further information about Legends, you can click here.
