Ghost of Yotei Wins Big in PS Blog’s Game of the Year Awards

Okay, so the PlayStation Blog just dropped their Game of the Year awards, and I’m super stoked to see that Ghost of Yotei – Sucker Punch’s sequel – absolutely crushed it, winning a bunch of awards! It’s awesome to see them get the recognition they deserve.

The game won the award for Best PS5 Game, and also received accolades for its new character, stunning graphics, art style, sound design, accessibility features, and innovative use of the DualSense controller.

Even though it didn’t win in every category, it was the second-place finisher for both Best Story and Best Soundtrack.

It seems readers of the PlayStation Blog overwhelmingly favored Ghost of Yotei, even more so than Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which was a popular choice this year.

Despite the challenges, Sandfall Interactive’s RPG was still recognized with awards for its story, music, and as an outstanding independent game.

  • Best PS5 Game – Ghost of Yotei
