Gigi Hadid Breaks Silence on Being Mentioned in Epstein Files

Gigi Hadid is breaking her silence on a sensitive matter.

The supermodel recently addressed the files released by the U.S. Department of Justice concerning Jeffrey Epstein, which include her name.

An email from December 2015, reviewed by TopMob News, shows someone asking the convicted financier how Gigi and Bella Hadid achieved success and earned so much money as models. The sender admitted they didn’t understand the sisters’ rise to fame.

Following Epstein’s reply, the other person stated that the father had paid the agency. Epstein simply denied this. He later explained that the agency complied with instructions, stating it was “that simple.”

After someone commented on Gigi Hadid’s Instagram post from March 29th, saying they had to unfollow her because she wasn’t addressing recent documents, Hadid responded that those documents had deeply upset her.

She said it was upsetting to see someone she didn’t know talk about her like that, especially given the situation. She hadn’t responded because she didn’t want to overshadow the experiences of actual victims, but your comment made her think it needed to be said – people might not understand the full story.

Gigi Hadid, who shares 5-year-old daughter Khai with her ex, Zayn Malik, explained that despite having a privileged upbringing, her parents, Mohammed and Yolanda Hadid, instilled in her the importance of hard work. She says she’s been working diligently ever since she signed with a modeling agency in 2012.

She concluded by saying that it was upsetting to see her name mentioned in those documents – she believes she was around 20 or 21 years old when the email was written. She firmly stated that she has never been associated with that person, whom she described as despicable.

Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in July 2019 and charged with sex trafficking and conspiring to commit sex trafficking of minors. This followed a previous plea deal related to soliciting prostitution and procuring a minor for prostitution. He died by suicide while in jail a few weeks later.
