Golden Bachelor’s Nicolle Reveals “Ulterior Motives” in Confession

Things are getting thorny at Villa de la Vina.

Even though 23 women are still vying for Mel Owens’ affection on season two of *The Golden Bachelor*, one contestant, Nicolle, has admitted she isn’t only interested in him.

In a recent conversation with contestant Roxanne, the 64-year-old explained that he wasn’t interested in dating Mel. He said his focus was on connecting with the American audience, adding that this would give Roxanne a level of exposure she hadn’t experienced before.

Chatting with the other contestants, the yoga instructor predicted they would all become famous, comparing their potential level of celebrity to the stars of *The Real Housewives* series. She excitedly said they were “going to have *Housewives* status.”

She’s already thinking about the future after the show, and wants to focus on becoming a successful social media influencer.

Nicolle is optimistic about her future after the show, but her fellow contestants didn’t appreciate her sharing personal information. Cindy, for example, explained that everyone else simply wants Mel to be happy.

In a private interview, the 60-year-old woman claimed Nicolle is acting with hidden intentions. She explained that most of the group is discussing this, both to Nicolle’s face and when she’s not around.

Meanwhile, Carol admitted that Nicolle’s honest remarks simply took her aback.

“I don’t even know what to think,” she reflected. “It just rubbed me the wrong way.”

Mel is eager to meet his potential life partner, but he’s also hinted that there will be plenty of drama on the show before that happens.

He promised the new season will be amazing, telling *Good Morning America* it’s full of surprises and features a fantastic cast of women. “You really have to watch it for the women,” he said.

As for what the 66-year-old is looking for in his future wife?

He described his ideal partner as someone full of life, with a great personality, who is active, adventurous, and always eager to learn. He emphasized that having a lot of energy is particularly important.
