Goldie Hawn is throwing her reservations overboard.
Besides passing on her acting talent to her daughter, Kate Hudson, and sons, Oliver Hudson and Wyatt Russell, the Oscar winner playfully hinted that her eldest granddaughter – Rio, who is 12 years old and son of Oliver – may soon follow in their footsteps and venture into show business.
Goldie expressed to Entertainment Tonight that frankly, there wasn’t much of a choice for her during their recent joint interview with Oliver and Rio (on Instagram Aug 17), and she believes the same goes for Kate – they didn’t have any other option, and it seems like this time around, they don’t have a choice either.
Despite the humor, it’s clear that the 79-year-old emphasized, “My only wish for her is happiness. Everything else doesn’t matter to me.
Oliver, who is happily married to Erinn Bartlett and has two boys, Wilder (age 17) and Bodhi (age 14), supports his daughter’s aspirations as well. However, he emphasized a cautious approach in pursuing them.
He revealed that she desires it, referring to the outlet. He also praised her dancing skills, stating they’re inherent. However, before moving on to plays, he mentioned they plan to focus on dance first.
Oliver emphasized, “We’re gonna go slowly.”
